Hey there!
Does your life seem unrecognizable and you’re wondering how the hell you got here?
Do you constantly feel worried, on edge, nervous or anxious and don’t know how to change it?
Are you drinking or using drugs to cope with life or make it through the end of the day?
Perhaps you feel overwhelmed, confused, lost, or depressed, and the thought of the future scares you and you don’t know where to go next.
You are sick and tired of being sick and tired, and are ready to take the steps to change your life.
Or maybe you are struggling to find purpose and meaning in your life or you just need someone to listen and not judge you.
If this sounds familiar then I am here for you!
Let me tell you a bit about myself, and how I help people get their lives back on track.
For starters please feel free to contact me any time! Even if you are getting started with counseling for the first time, looking to continue your growth or healing with a new therapist, or want to connect with a fellow veteran who understands what it is to serve our country.
Either way this will likely be a whole new experience for you, because I am not your typical counselor!
I am fun and funky, and occasionally really raw. I speak to clients the same way I would friends or family! I do so by having a sense of humor (sarcasm is a must!), shooting you the truth in a way that is honest and caring, and by really meeting you where you are at today.
I am not here to try and change who you are as a person; in fact I think you are perfect as you are. Perfectly imperfect, if you will. I am motived by success and a solid work ethic, so if you are ready to dig in on the work to start feeling better, then I am the counselor for you!

Interested in a few more specifics about what I do?
I specialize in a revolutionary therapy called EMDR Therapy. I have a whole page dedicated to more information about this approach. The important things to know are that, while it is as effective as all other types of therapy, research is showing that EMDR gets consistent results a lot quicker!
What does that mean?
That means you spend less time and money in therapy than you would with regular talk therapy or CBT. We do this by a using a special approach that looks at the problem, experience or even the belief with ALL of the important details that are missed by regular talk therapy.
My favorite part about this whole process that is that it can really help limit the need to rehash the whole story over and over until it feels better. The amount of detail about the event is very minimal and much less painful than explaining it out every time. Quick, to the point and we try to move right on through it.
What does life look like after EMDR therapy?
A colleague said today that she wished people “knew how truly liberating” it can be to break the hold of these memories and experiences. She was so spot on. Clients who have completed EMDR therapy say they feel no connection to the event, and some even say they can’t really bring the memory back into mind again. Feelings of being irritable or edgy, worried or scared, and even self-loathing can all be addressed with this approach! It is more than just an approach its a whole way of being and thinking as a counselor!
So if you are sick and tired of constantly coping and are ready to get on from the past that haunts you call me today.
